Nella maxi trade che ha coinvolto Sixers, Thunder e Knicks, il centro ex Bakonia si è visto fiondare a New York, unitamente a Terrance Ferguson e ad una seconda scelta nel 2021 di Phila.
Il centro francese aveva firmato nell’estate 2019 un biennale con i Boston Celtics, e quest’anno stava percependo un contratto da 2.619.207 milioni di dollari con Philadelphia, dove aveva ottenuto solo 39’ in 10 gare.
Nella prossima stagione sarà restricted free agent.
